Rosie's Riveting Recipes is a continuation of my earlier food blog, My Timeless Cuisine, which I started when I published my first cookbook, Anna's Kitchen. My updated cookbook, Rosie's Riveting Recipes, includes the delicious historic recipes from Anna's Kitchen, along with a few new ones. It also includes the stories of home front history. This blog will feature recipes from Rosie's Riveting Recipes, along with some of my family recipes, and a few that I created myself.
Please be forewarned that you might encounter some "hate speech" here, because I hate olives. And okra. And maybe a few other exotic foods as well. Never did care for the taste of them, so one of my goals is to adapt my recipes and find substitutes for those ingredients that I simply don't like. I don't think anyone would have an issue with that.
Then there's "food porn," which some define as food so sumptuous and delicious it boggles the senses. Hopefully you'll find some food porn here as that's what good cooking is all about. Good food should stimulate the senses and be a pleasurable experience that the entire family can enjoy.
